Born in the South Sinai desert into a reputable Bedouin family Anis Anizan looks back on many years of experience working in tourism providing firsthand knowledge about Bedouin traditions and desert environment.
'El Khan' was set up in the early 80s and has grown into a lavish green oasis and a meeting point for cultural interested travelers to the Sinai. 'El Khan' provides basic and clean accommodation. A restaurant serves food upon request. The Bazaar displays a large variety of Bedouin handicraft.
Bedouin culture is in transition, and the Sinai desert habitat observes many changes. On his desert tours the tourist is inspired to become a nomad himself for a limited time while at the same time gaining a deep insight into Bedouin customs and an almost spiritual experience of the timeless eternity of the wilderness.
